I obtained a free ticket (worth £300) for last weekends London Screenwriter's Festival. Not bad for half a day's work flyering. It was a very great experience listening and socialising with many speakers in the film and television industry.
Highlights were talk from Disney and Pixer writer David Reynolds - credits include 'Finding Nemo', 'Toy Story 3' and 'The Emperor's New Groove';
'The Pitch Factor' event, which Tim O'Leary and I made a quick logo for;
and on the train home, bumped into amazing understated British actor Paul McGann!
